Why are there community special tickets?

To support individuals in the surrogacy and donor community, we’re offering big ticket discounts. Get in early to take advantage of these savings!

Community special tickets are cheaper. Can I just buy these?

The intent of the community ticket price is to support members of the community. If you work in a field as an industry professional, you can purchase a standard ticket.

Why are there different ticket prices?

This is to help us with planning an exceptional night for you! We encourage you to purchase your tickets as early as you can so you get the best price.

Awards gala night

What's happening at the gala night?

It’s going to be a lot of fun! The presentation of awards, a 3-course dinner with drinks, charity auction, entertainment, DJ, music, dancing and the opportunity to meet others in the surrogacy and donation community and industry.

Where are the awards being held?

This year the awards will be held in the Ithaca Auditorium at the Brisbane City Hall at 64 Adelaide St, Brisbane City QLD 4000.

Can I bring my friends and family?

Absolutely! We’d love for you to bring you friends and family along so long as they have their own ticket and they are over 18.

Are children allowed to come?

The gala awards are strictly an over 18s event.

How do you allocate who sits where?

To guarantee you are sitting with your friends, family and colleagues you will need to book a table of ten. For single tickets, we will arrange your table for you. You can enter your guest names when you check out or our team will be in contact to collect the details of your guests.

Where will the money raised from the auction go?

Australian Surrogacy and Donation is a registered not-for-profit with the ACNC. The money raised from the auction will go directly into supporting Australian individuals, couples, and families navigating surrogacy and egg, sperm, and embryo donation including this event.

Judging Process

Who are the judges?

Our judging is panel is made up of at least 5 people who are experts in their respective industries. Their expertise spans across education, non profit, big pharma, governement, real estate and business. Our judges have critical thinking skills to be able to assess all accepted nominees.

For privacy reasons and in line with other awards events, we do not publish the names of our judges.

How are the awards judged?

Our judging panel independently review and rank all accepted nominations for each award category.

Public vote

What is the public vote?

The public vote is an opportunity to raise more awareness about surrogacy and donation for Australians. All accepted nominees get the opportunity to share their nomination with their community with a chance to win the Amplifier Award for the most number of votes.

Is the public vote part of the judging process?

No. The public vote does not influence any judges decision and is completely independent of the judging process.

Promotion of my award

How can I promote my award?

Congratulations on being an award winner!

We recommend sharing your award with your community, friends and family.

For health professionals and health services, you’ll need to ensure you are promoting your award under the Ahpra guidelines and national laws. More information is available on the Ahpra website.

Do you provide images I can use?

Generally we only provide social media images for accepted nominations to help you promote your nomination. Official photos from the Awards Gala night can be requested by contacting the team.
